pyrenean boxwood dagger

The heart of this dagger is a piece of boxwood burl gifted to me by French knifemaker Stéphanie Mottais. The wood originates from the Pyrenees, from trees said to have been planted by the Romans.
I designed and carved the dagger in a floral style, seeking to evoke both nature's grace and the quiet echo of something ancient.
